Drosera Madagascariensis

Drosera madagascariensis is a tropical sundew known for its upright growth habit and long, dew-covered leaves. Unlike many sundews that stay in a low rosette, this species gradually develops a stem as it grows, giving mature plants a unique appearance that stands out in any collection.

Each plant is sold as a small starter in a 2.5-inch clear round plastic pot. While young plants start out compact, they can grow surprisingly quickly once established and produce an impressive display of sticky leaves.

The leaves are covered in glistening tentacles that produce sticky mucilage used to attract and trap small insects. When grown in strong light, the plant develops excellent dew production and attractive coloration.
