Drosera prolifera, commonly known as the Fuzzy Sundew, is one of the three famous Queensland sundews from Australia. Unlike many sundews that prefer full sun, this species naturally grows in shaded, humid environments and develops broad, fuzzy-looking leaves covered in sparkling dew.
Each plant is sold as a small starter in a 2.5-inch clear round plastic pot. While young, these plants establish steadily and can eventually form attractive clusters as they mature. One of the traits that makes this species unique is its tendency to produce new plantlets along its flower stalks, which is where the name prolifera comes from.
